In a service industry such as ours, we have to provide the very best services, if not, we have no right to expect client's business.

If we can not give a better price than the client could himself, then our services are no longer needed.

We strive to maintain a high standard in servicing our clients' needs, both large and small.

Our company has private circuits directly linked to banks and financial institutions and we have dealing relationships with correspondent brokers in financial centers where we are not represented.

We have a prominent position in a highly competitive market and it is important that we strive to keep it.

KAF Astley & Pearce Sdn Bhd was first incorporated in Kuala Lumpur on 18 January 1974 under the name of KAF-P. Murray-Jones International Sdn bhd. Its name was changed to KAF Astley & Pearce Sdn Bhd on 4 November 1976.

The Company is one of the first broking houses to be set up in the Malaysian Financial Market. Since then, the company has been doing money broking business with banks and financial Institutions both in Malaysia as well as all over the world.

In 1989, the Banking and Financial Act came into force which empowers Bank Negara Malaysia to regulate the operations of individual money broking houses in Kuala Lumpur.

KAF Astley & Pearce Sdn Bhd is part of KAF Group. Founded in 1972, the KAF Group began its financial services operation that was then expanded into its flagship KAF Discounts Berhad (now known as KAF Investment Bank Berhad) in 1975.

Following the acquisition of Seagroatt & Campbell Sdn Bhd, in 1985, the KAF Group today is Malaysia's leading provider of fixed income and money market services. Our experience and expertise in these areas is unparalleled in Malaysia.

Our partner, Astley & Pearce started as a foreign exchange broker in 1931. In 1968, P.Murray Jones bought the company and merged it into his own broking company. In 1975 Murray Jones decided to leave the company and sold his shareholding. As a result, the Group's name was changed back to Astley & Pearce Limited and subsequently changed its name to Exco plc and is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

40% of KAF Astley & Pearce Sdn Bhd is owned by Astley & Pearce Investments B.V., a wholly subsidiary of Exco plc.

Exco Plc has since merged with Intercapital Plc and Garban Plc and is now known as Garban-Intercapital Plc.
